My ex (you remember Kevin, right?) had a friend from work who dated a deaf girl (Rosie). We used to double date sometimes and I was more impressed with how well she adjusted to being around us than how Chris (her bf) had adjusted to dating her.

I think we spent more time concerned with how handicapped she was than Rosie ever did.

But I was thinking... What if the deaf person was dating a musician? Music/sound is the other person's passion. I'm just curious on what kinds of misunderstandings that would occur with something you've can't comprehend.

I guess it depends from one person to the next, but Rosie could still listen to (and hear) music - just in a different way. It could make you aware of a whole different level of music, you know?
