Sorry that I've still not been around. I should have posted sooner, but with everything going on around here, I just haven't had much time. My brother in law got here a week ago and is here for 3 weeks...and Karl has no time off because of our trip, so I'm busy with him among other things. First off....thank you guys for the hello's and missing me while I've been away. I've missed all of you as well. Also thanks for the hugs and messages about my friend Shawn. I'm writing again with more bad news I just found out about. Another good friend died in his sleep this last friday while on tour. His band, the Peppermint Creeps were in Texas ( Read more... ) -

Right after I posted that entry I found out that one of my really close friends died a week ago yesterday. I'd been great friends with him for about 15 years and he sadly lost his battle with cancer. I'm ( Read more... ) -

So, we leave the house at 4:30am our time tomorrow. I'm happy to say that I'm stressed but nothing like I usually am. It's weird and I'm not going to try to figure it out. So, a 3rd case it has to be. At least the other 2 weigh UNDER the weight. The 3rd case is also at least one of those carry on ones, so it's not THAT bad. It should be totally empty for the return trip. Maybe we'll just leave it there and have someone else bring it back with them next summer.
