I actually do that decorating to feel like home thing.
A lot, because I move all the time. I don't think it's strange that it took forever to get done. Sometimes I won't get my shit unpacked til the month before I end up moving out. Which happens to be true about where I'm at now.

I definitely agree that you're taking steps towards moving forward. And I'm for you for doing that. You're the only person who can change you. Anyone who tries is wasting their time. So keep it going, cuz I like seeing you get happier as time passes.

Oh, and I wanna see your sleep videos, lol. Just curious.
