Huh. So we have S'kili to thank for all this mess. And the way to undo it, too.

Thank you, S'kili. Thili.

Chapter 9's "animation" (flashy cutscene?) showed S'kili giving Iiji the solution that causes all this mess. Really, this is the stat card and "random backstory" that is the least "pulled out of my ass as I was making it" of the ones we've seen so far.

plan B: Trapping Iiji and her Ki-jaara in a place where they could do no more harm.
Wait, so she left (and also transported everyone to limbo) shortly after Sekani arrived?

Indeed, that's what was shown in the chapter 4 animation. She left a note near her exit route which was found in chapter... 6, I think.

Yeah, I got that they were separated from the rest of the world somehow, but I didn't realize that someone(S'kili) intentionally went and caused that just recently. I thought it was some kind of one-way barrier or something that had been up for a while and Sekani just never found out he was trapped inside until Chapter 4.

To be fair, at the time I wasn't entirely sure what the cause was either. TQ has a lot of instances of me introducing things for surprise value figuring I'd get the rest of the details figured out later. After chapter 9, though, I began reversing this and making surprises out of established facts, instead of randomly establishing new ones.

The letter only implied this much, so I guess the stat card accidentally gave you guys actual information instead of nigh-pointless backstory. Oops~
