Happy Birthday Nikki! (I am embarrassed I forgot!) I am sure you’ll forgive me :P Did you do anything fun?

That is so great you raised so much money for My House. I am sure they need everything they can get.

Thanks, and no worries! *hugs* We went out to dinner Friday night (thus our call about babysitters), and we rented some movies. :)

It was awesome... Speaking of, I got your check in the mail this weekend and in the craziness going on I seem to have lost it. I'm going to keep looking, but I'm afraid it may have strayed into my "shred" pile. x_x
I'll let you know before we leave so you can void the check to be safe. I'M SO SORRY! ;_____;

I just checked out your Deviant Art gallery and saw your new work. That new color one is fantastic. Can you do a little post about the process you go through to do one of these pieces? I think people would really be interested in the prep work, the sketching, the digital coloring, and the time it really takes to get one of these done.

By the way, I've finally posted some new things on my photography blog if you want to check it out: http://butlerfamilyphotography.blogspot.com/

The tiny bird icon? Glad you like it! :)
There are TONS of tutorials all over DA and the net that explain the same process I go through; I usually direct people to those... I'd never have the patience to make a tutorial of my own. X)
