This is gorgeous. Frightening and beautiful all at once. Dean seems incredibly patient, like he's going to stand there because he's not leaving Castiel, and you seem to have captured Castiel at the height of his monster-soul insanity but right at that instant when he mentally catches, remembers who he is, because of Dean and he hasn't come all the way back yet but he's going to in the next blink.

OMG that. Wow. Wow!!!!! This is so brilliant beautiful creepy gorgeous I'm speechless!!!!!!! It's so much better than anything I could have pictured.

I'm really fascinated by your take on Cas's body, the light between his ribs, the wings morphing into dark hands and the shadow spine reaching up. I want to keep looking at this a long long time. I also love how Dean is just -- waiting for Cas to come back. His face is neither surprised nor scared. Slinky, this is all so eerily beautiful. It makes me want to write stories.

I LIKE IT A LOT!!!!! No seriously I'm all for art that shows angels - or monster-god-hybrid-thingstiels - in a non-traditional way. It's like taking a look behind a mask. But what I appreciate most of all is Dean looking at Cas's alien-ness and accepting it. Taking it as par for the course. He seems to know grabbing Cas won't do any good so he just stands there, waiting for Cas to reach out for him. Which somehow he just knows Cas will.

The feelings, I tell you, ALL THE FEELINGS!!!
