For the record, I am working fifteen days in a row, so I reserve the right to bite anyone's head off. I will apologize in advance for this, however.

I like a clean house! I keep my room clean, do the bathroom as I need to, and do my own laundry. Dusting is becoming a new habit with me as I spend more time in the living room. Granted, I don't do the dishes often, but that would be my only gripe. However, it doesn't merit being screamed at when I'm working fourty hours between two jobs.

Yes! . . . This will probably get better once these puppies are gone. And she wonders why I don't shed a tear as their numbers dwindle.

. . . . . . fifteen days in the row.

I.

Yes.

I would also be cranky if I was working that much.

AND WOULD DEFINITELY NOT BE DOING MOST OF THE HOUSEWORK IN THAT SITUATION.

I would say this is the case except in regards to students-- if you're a full-time student who isn't working, fitting in housework can sometimes be a problem, though I think it's fair to take up some of that responsibility regardless.

TOTES AGREED. Though, I have never been in that position for like . . . Gosh, Six years? I've always been working in some form except for a three month gap there.

Oh, no, she is retired. So, she's never going to be working or doing anything in the working area. I still live at home with family, unfortunately.

And I nearly killed my co-worker who stood up for my boss who is getting five days off the next two weeks while I get murdered. Yeahhh, I was already delirious, so that wasn't a wise move.

Though I am admittedly kind of bad at picking up the slack on this front, I do think that if you're home, you should take on a bigger part of the chore burden. And if someone's been working for fifteen days straight, the person not working for fifteen days straight should do the fucking dishes, 'cause seriously.

I'm a full-time student, but even accounting for the time I have to spend studying and writing, chores don't take that long.
