Today is Brent's last day in the office.  The fun rumor going around the office is that Brent is leaving to be with his girflriend in Berlin.  Brent is, in fact, going to Berlin to be with his girlfriend, so that part is true enough.  The rumor, though, seems to ignore the obvious: Brent is not so much leaving to be somewhere as he is leaving to

I too will miss the jovial redhead. He used to love to pick on me during the marathon days of the Big "S", and he was one of the first lawyers I worked with here.

Part of the problem was that he only lives 3 blocks from the office, so even during snowstorms... he could be summoned in.

With all the turnover lately, it makes you wonder what is going on here. A lot of my favs have left in the last 6 months... perhaps it is a sign to leave now.

New blood is a good thing, but too much new blood is rather scary. I feel like I don't know anyone anymore... especially with the punk summers running around.
