The story is great, but I warn you that there is of course, gore in it.

I had a whole lot of fun doing this. I know I mentioned it would have been a dramatic piece done in micron ink, but the theme of the story was not dark enough for what I had in mind. Lol going on the description alone, when I picked it I expected serial killer stuff, but I was pleasantly surprised, and since I have been on a watercolor sketch kick as of late, fit well with it. This was done over the span of three work days where I was stuck at work between shifts, and about an hour or so at home to finish the inking. The ink around the watercolors has its own strength and weaknesses vs it being a fully watercolor piece.
I wanted to also do an illustration for the Ukitake/Shunsuei fic that has been entered this year, however it took me a long while to get in contact with my artist because I stupidly forgot what email address I used for the contest.
There are two pics posted here: one is the fullsize scan, well, as fullsize as I will let it be due to having to piece it together in MS Paint because the art doesn't fit on the scanner, and the other is smaller to "fit" better on monitors (not all of course), so you can see the whole scene.
