Have applied to a few journalism type thingys over the last couple of days, including one which is an EXPENSES PAID course that lasts for 5 months in Newcastle learning all the stuff like publishing law, shorthand etc (I'd love to be able to do shorthand, just think of all the overheard conversations I'd be able to secretly write down!). Well journalism that's AMAZING! It will fill me with liquid envy if you get it. Don't give up on your beautiful 'ladies of the night' just yet. It could still happen. It's not your imagination being unemployed is like being a student, only you know, more depressing. I still haven't read "The Name of the Rose", although I bought it. I've started reading movie scripts, actually ( I know how hideously American of me). I think they might be fun to write. I miss you loads, especially right now. I started on a letter draft for you, but you know how that is. Anyways, I hereby officially bless you with the gift of ruthless capitalism, as bestowed upon me by my horrible citizenship, may it score you an overpaid office job!

Unfortunately I got the 'We don't want you' letter this morning... No naked ladies here! Still, I got an interview for the British Heart Foundation's furniture shop in Dover, so it's not all bad... I miss you too - come to England! For ever and ever and ever! x
