I mentioned over a year ago that on my way to work I hadn't had to dodge a car carrier parked in the right-hand lane of Route 1 outside the Nissan dealership, in a long time. I proposed that the reappearance of the Nissan car carriers would signal the end of the recession.
Update: still no car carriers seen in the past eighteen months. But in the past couple of weeks, I've had to dodge three semi trailers parked in Route 1, unloading large boxes. Parts? Dunno. No new cars yet. But something is happening at the dealership. Any economic activity is good economic activity, I'd say.
