okay, so since i had pretty much finished everything i needed to on monday at work, i decided to call in yesterday and go to the smithsonian!  i took the metro all by myself - which is a big deal, because i don't trust myself to find my way around places.

i spent almost 4 hours wandering around the american history museum.  they had an awesome
