Apartment hunting sucks. Troy is cheaper than Edwardsville, but it's so far away from civilization. :(

I'd say try Maryville.

How about Action Ridge? The commute might suck, but we'd have a fuuun tiimmeeee!!!! Haha....

Here in Edwardsville area. Sorry, the commute would suck. The ball is the 18th so this next weekend!
