Good luck. It is my understanding out of any, and MANY habits that exist for us humans quiting smoking is one of the top three. I didn't understand for a while why my friends couldn't just not smoke. I use to be a social smoker, you know that. If I was drinkin' I was smokin. Not a lot, but still. And I found for me personally it just got in the way for me and what *I* want to accomplish. I have better breath and vocal power because I don't smoke. And being an esthetician I need to have good skin and smoking really dries me out. I'm babbling. All I mean is I understand that it is hard, although I've never done it. I understand that you have to make the choice and follow through only for yourself and no one else.

So I give you kudos, props, brownie points and a hug, along with a high five a rabbits foot, a lucky charm and a smile on this very difficult but worth it venture.

Good luck and congrats! It sounds like you have a lot of positive life changes in the works.

Do you know of any support groups for the no-smoking thing? Other people quitting who can help you get through the rough patches?
