18 years and back again

So I was back at my parents house for a few days doing some work for them. Lacking a decent cd playing system, or any cd playing device at all for that matter, and having forgotten my ipod I was reduced to listening to the radio. It wouldn't be such a bad thing, after all it lets me know what new stuff is out, if only all the new stuff didn't suck

I'll admit that I'm skeptical about Alice in Chains' return. I haven't heard a lot of their new stuff but the one song I heard I was rather lukewarm about at best, but mostly I can't really accept that a band without Layne Staley can be Alice in Chains, but maybe that's just me. Jerry Cantrell's done solo work before; it really wouldn't be that hard to just come up with a new band name even if they mostly retain the same concept they had with Alice. I am right there with 100% about Pearl Jam, though, on all points you mentioned.
