My favorite is always the warning that cell phones can trigger explosions at the gas pump.

Mage: He's pumping gas? I call him on his cell phone.
(phone rings) Victim: Hello?
Mage (to GM): FIREBALL! It's not vulgar, he answered his cell phone.

It may not be paradoxical, but to me, it's still vulgar.
