It seems WexWorlds will be our last SFish outing this year, and I'm very keen to see how it all works out, as it is a brand new format for this kind of thing, as far as I can see. Expectations are high, though

That Alan Moore conference sounds potentially interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on that one.
I'd like to make it over for a P-Con one of these years but it tends to be in bit of the year that's just between snowboarding and Eastercon, which is a bit busy/expensive. Though as I've missed a trip to Ireland this year I'm even more tempted.

Every academic conference I've ever been to has been interesting, but those are all science-y things. Who knows if literature-type academic conferences are the same?

Once upon a time, back in July, you answered a question I had about an English-to-Irish translation, via mizkit. Would you be willing to check the translations I gleaned from the web for a few more phrases?
