I suppose that my major issue with getting older is that you invariably spend more time spending less time doing what you would like to.

Canberra - here I come!
Off tomorrow to that big thriving city metropolis (ahem) Canberra. Well it's a helluva lot bigger and thrivey than where I am currently stranded.
The to-do-list is pretty simple: spend 3 days with assorted art chicks and do lots of shit. Spend one day teaching, the rest making whatever I feel like with whatever new products are available.

One of those days.
Got suckered into doing minutes. Typed them up and there went my arvo, if I hadda had forewarning I woulda taken the laptop and done em then and there.

Small alpine variety, but very pungent - and numerous after all of the rain! Monstah we need to liberate my vegie patch from these when you are ready with your beds!!

Ooh I love Kim Salmon.
Problem is that I was thinking that very opening as I booted up the computer, got distracted and have just discovered (after several emails and a bit o work stuff) my rather tepid and well-stewed cup of tea on the kitchen bench. Still, it makes this bloody awful mini hot cross bun edible.

New Year, come and gone!
Bloody hell. Broadband. We seem to have arrived in the new millenium.
3 sets of workshop ideas, costings and demos due in the next week. Have no idea where the bloody good camera has gone, just goes to show that you shouldn't bother disbanding the chaos... coulda told ya where it was before the tidy up, ie where it is not now.

If Only...
I felt this energised more often!
Eight hours work (5 1/4 yesterday and 4 today = 8 when you’ve been contracted by the hour) and I’m feeling on top of the world. Mind you, it could just be the red.
Now if only I could remember how this feels every time I walk into my studio, beat off the mozzies and get into it. A lot of the time I’m afraid ( Read more... )
