No seriously, someone was actually decapitated at work today. The guy was trying to make a left turn out of here (almost always a bad idea), during morning rush hour (obvious). Andrew Sullivan's Daily Dish is my favorite blog lately. It's mostly political and social, but he's definitely not a hack. He writes for several magazines and newspapers, and often appears on talk shows, usually as the most reasonable talking head. Has anyone heard how TehBaldwin is faring? I haven't talked to anyone in a couple of days.

So I'm going in to O'Charley's Saturday morning to start my training to be a waiter. The plan is to work there nights and weekends so I can start saving up some money. I'm sure it won't be easy working 75(ish?) hours a week, but hopefully it won't be for too long, I'm hoping only 6 months at most, at which point I can quit whichever job is less ( Read more... )
