you should seriously try to obtain a copy of that book. it's the most beautiful writing I think I've ever come across. but, yes. only in the sense that faith is not futile.

that is of my favorite books. i was reading it the first time my girlfriend saw me; it is her favorite book, as well.

i'm happy to hear that. somehow it feels like a book which is so privately my own, but at the same time something I don't mind sharing if only because someone else should feel that particular hurt, too, you know?

you really should. she's a poet by trade, not a novelist, and the words are so rich they kind of make you stagger.
