...dat face what.

Mamoru likes her. The determination she showed him to learn coding and her proactive nature are both qualities he respects in others. It also doesn't hurt that she made him P4500 richer >.> He'd be happy to help her again, and (whisper it) he probably won't charge anything next time. He is also cautious about what exactly Claire needs secrecy for so badly.

At first he just thought she was like a spoiled little girl. Then she started putting moves on him and that attitude changed rather sharply. She makes him uncomfortable and he isn't completely sure how to handle her. At the same time, anyone who isn't (or who he doesn't know to be) slaughtering people is generally presumed to be a good person, and that counts for something. He's more or less neutral: neither against speaking to her again nor particularly keen on seeking that second conversation out.

I DO. Oh, Aya. Where to start.

Most of Mamoru's thoughts on Aya have little to nothing to do with their actual conversation. The biggest and most obvious of those, of course, is AYA-KUN'S SISTER. Aya-kun's sister as in the most important and precious thing in the world to him. Because Mamoru considers her brother a role model and admires him so much, she is automatically someone Mamoru cares about and will try to protect by sheer virtue of association. In addition, he harbors a private and carefully controlled curiosity about her. She's Aya's only remaining family as well as a hugely influential part of his life. It does leave him wondering what kind of person she is ( ... )

Cute. Tohru rather epitomizes exactly what he used to try to protect so much as Omi. While circumstances have forced him to shift that focus onto a goal of protecting his family rather than innocence in the general population, that sort of happy and untouched-by-evil nature is still a big soft spot with him. He won't admit it, but he's sort of keeping an eye out for any trouble she runs into over the Dreamberries. He may not be in a position to help, but he wants to at least know when someone needs to help her, just in case he can.
