Ken, still in Johto, at 36? Yeah, he'll be happy as a clam. I mean, he'll never be able to leave his past behind completely, but 10 years is a damn good start, especially with a good number of his friends here. He'd like to see Free, Michel, Yuki, Chloe, and Kurumi show up, sure, but he probably wouldn't be holding his breath.
He lives with Aya, I'm sure. Also close to Mamoru and Aya-chan, because Uncle Ken will want to spoil those kids rotten and teach them important things like how to climb trees and play sports. :D He figures it'll be the closest thing to being a dad he's going to accomplish. Unless Aya and he adopt. /shotHe'll have gotten all the badges, from both Johto and Kanto, and take trips every so often to the other regions (if they become available of course 8D)--maybe he's got a spattering of badges from each. Team additions: Sawsbuck, Mienshao, Braviary, Scraggy, Steelix, Purugly, Stoutland, and Liepard. (...what, 5th gen is awesome.) While he might have plenty of badges, he still won't have challenged the Elite Four
