a voice I find really credible for Brooke. She has lost that exhilarating courage of doing whatever she wants and making mistakes, and she realizes it, and the way she knows it, struggles with having to regain something that was once so natural, but still is that hotheaded, impulsive girl, rings true. You write her in a way that makes it clear she is still herself, but with the constant second-guessing, it doesn´t feel that way for her. She still possesses the same kind of confident, smartass sense of humor, and it keeps her irresistibly endearing, even more so since she finally understands what fear is.

Yeah, you've basically hit the nail on the head with my version of Brooke. I'm glad that it came across that she's still the Brooke we all know and love and that she's only lost herself a little. So this is just me saying thanks for letting me know I'm actually doing what I hoped to do with this fic and Brooke's character.

Ah yes, I've actually added two chapters to this story already, but I'm such a moron I never added it to my journal!
