So okay, the depression finally set in.  Guess it was inevitable, I mean it's been a month since he died and I'm only now realising what that means for me, how huge a part of my life he was, but I don't know why I'm so surprised by it all.  Dude was my best friend, I worked with him, I shared most of my life with him.

And now he's gone.
