These days it's all work-work-work for me, but in this bought of Work Hell, I gave myself two days off. The first was for book club, and the second was for queenie-mab's Halloween party. Which was last night!

I would LOVE to have one or three treats. *wistful sigh* Here's hopin'! (Treats usually go to familiar fandoms, like Finding Nemo last year. But they can happen for more obscure stuff, too. I received a DOGS--the manga--treat my first year of Yuletide.) *crosses fingers for good treat luck this year!*

Wow, I'd love to see the photos of the costumes if you have them (their photos that is) handy. How long did it take for you to make each one? I'm assuming a lot of time, especially Serenity's.

Halloween: welp...when I was in the third grade, we moved out of the city and into the country. Trick-or-treating became pointless, as it required a car and a lot of driving between houses. Not much fun that way, and my only real friend at the time also lived in the country, so I couldn't just go with her and wander around her neighborhood

I didn't grow up in the culture with Halloween, so I don't understand it.

Can I beg prettily that you unearth a cosplay outfit to wear to my wedding in February? I would love to see you all dressed up! Well, I like to see you whenever wearing whatever the hell you want, but cosplay would be such a treat!

I fear neither cosplay outfit would be proper. The Princess Serenity one is a full-length white satin dress. When my mom and I bought the cloth for it, the sales clerk asked if it was for a wedding dress! Only the bride is allowed to wear a white dress at a wedding. And the Love Me work uniform is bright bubblegum pink coveralls, like what a workman wears. Hardly pretty or formal.

I'll think of something appropriate! And hopefully I'll be able to put it together in time.
