I am still not going to Nevada. This is good.
It was a short talk, she already knew/suspected this is why i wanted to talk. I told her I wanted to help but physically being there was the only thing I could not offer.

Not going to Nevada
My mother has again asked I come back out to Nevada. This time things will be different, her brother won't be there, its okay, all the problems I had were my doing/in my head/no big deal/wont happen again/oh my god this is what an abusive person says in a bad relationship!!

Living alone, a reflection on recent choices.
All my life I never lived alone. I moved out of my mom's place and moved in with friends at 21. I stayed with those same friends for over 15 years in a variety of ways. The way we are treated.
Now I see it. The shit flinging, the guilt casting, the unwillingness to listen or have an adult conversation with me. All they hear is 'I am not doing what you ask'. My simple request to gather information and become informed is only heard as "make a decision before you have the information you need". I attempted to talk to my mom about contingency planning. She does not understand what I am talking about. "well we won't know what do do until X happens" but X only has about 3 outcomes and we can't talk or plan for any of them until we know because... 'reasons'. Trapped
My mom continues to improve. However she is far from being able to be left alone.

Visiting my very sick mom.
