Mr. Pinstripe Suit: [Paddy Yost] One of the first friends that Monica made upon moving to the city was Paddy Yost, the owner of The Hole where she happened to stop in usually on nights after racing or on her way home from work. Paddy and Mo were like two danger seeking peas in a pod, with similar outlooks on life. The bar tender and regular soon became fast friends, with a much needed understanding of one another. The two just seem to jive well together, and have in their two year friendship shifted from friends to lovers and back; though the two claim to have made a clean break of their brief affair sometimes it's hard to tell if or when the two may waffle back.
13 Women:[Female. Open] This is the female tale that Monica has found the most in common with. In a world of superficial friendships and acquaintances, Mo holds this girl near and dear to her heart, considering her- despite their brief friendship her best friend.
King of Swing: [Phoenix Sanchez] The male that Monica has found herself a good friend in, she takes them far more seriously than the sorts that get wrapped up in The Maddest Kind of Love and though they may butt heads on occasion, he always seems to be able to see a bit deeper than her admirers.
Maddest Kind of Love: [Male. Multi-Openings] These are the blokes that Mo finds herself shamelessly flirting with, though it's likely she will never go further than a few non-chalant innuendos and blush inducing compliments some of them may find themselves lucky.[Morgan Stoddard...]
You and Me and a Bottle Makes Three(Tonight): [M/F. Multi Openings] The people she goes out with to have a good time, dancing, drinking, all around entertainment.
I Wanna Be Like You: [M/F Open] With a following like Monica's she is bound to have a few fans hanging around somewhere. This is the person that looks up to a certain aspect of Mo's life, whether it be her work with animals, fashion, or racing, and that Mo will take under her wing as a sort of protege.
It Don't Mean a Thing(If It Aint Got That Swing): [M/F Multi-Openings] These are the tales that share the same interests as Mo in regards to dancing and speed.
Who's That Creepin'?: [M/F Multi-Openings] Friends and acquaintances from back home, these are the tales that Mo never thought she'd see again after leaving California, and more specifically- never thought were Tales.
You Know You're Wrong: [M/F- One Opening Each] For every fan, there has to be a few haters in the group. Though generally quite exuberant and likable, something about Monica and these two just doesn't seem to jive. When they're in a room together it's like a bad chord, and neither one will admit any sort of fault.
Please Baby: [Male.] While Monica tries her best to not break hearts, sometimes it is the only way to protect yourself. Following a few too many heart breaks of her own, Monica has since reverted to a state of holding her heart for herself and nobody else. This is the poor soul that thinks he can change her before she's ready, resulting in unrequited love and imminent heart break.
Jump with my Baby: [Male. Open.] This is the tale that Monica has gotten to know and surprisingly has found a small spot in her heart for. Whether it will last more than a month is indeed subject to debate, but it's likely she might find herself sitcking to this one for a while. [Should be pre-established in another SL.]
Big Time Operator: [Noah Connell] In for the long haul, Noah Connell has known Monica since she was prepubescent wild girl. Breaking into the music business with the help of her father, if one were to ask who has had the most influence on the sort of person she is today. Noah would be the one she'd cite; seven years her senior, he started her interest in the jazz and big band world, helped her through those awkward years, and has played the role of big brother as well as lover. Seemingly growing up together, these two perhaps know each other(masked and unmasked) better than anyone else in the world. The consummate protector throughout most of her life, it was only fitting that he should have been the one the break a young Monica's heart so fully that she formed the hard ball busting exterior that many fall prey to today. Unlike past heart breaks which Monica had simply written directly out of her life, this one being far more complicated forced her to heal in his presence and now the two are back on similar terms that they had held prior to their 363 day long relationship.
