I know, but I've a deadline to get something done by the twenty-third, and then Dr Pierce assigned an essay, and I got all excited about the topic so I wasn't really paying as close attention to the time as I should have, so I got the essay done

[The writing breaks off here, and there are a few inkblots as Tsu shakes her hand to relieve the cramping.]
