Days long gone

A friend and I were reminiscing the other day about old times. We got to talking about an old mutual friend of ours that we rarely (mostly never) hear from anymore. After the three of us first met up in college, we had so many great times together ( Read more... )

Man, that sucks, If you also remember correctly, I was good friends with him too. Shortly into my college career, he stopped returning any of my messages. Oh well, people are strange.

I'll have to talk to you more about this when I SEE YOU in a couple of weeks. :)

Peace,

I guess the past is still an open nerve. Its hard to get back what was lost. I truly want to. Perhaps there is just too much there. We all live different lives now. We are all the same. I know I haven't changed really. I am a bit more of a recluse than I was. I have always had social anxieties, and they are getting worse. I will be starting therapy. I would love to see old friends and build new friendships with them. But, the reasons we drifted apart may still be there. I listen to my friends, I help them out, I am a good friend. But I AM very much wrapped up in my own head. And I don't like sharing that anymore. I keep it to myself. I guess, I want you to knowthat I think of you often and, Gus, and the rest of my old friends. I hope someday we can all be pals again. Hell, I am sure our paths will cross on a set if not sooner. We are all going to be famous you know.

Gotta get up for work in the morning and I have severe jet lag. Ugh . . .

Peace,

I was just re-reading this thread after quite a long time (2 years). Wow, a lot has changed. But certain things, sadly, have not.

Here's to the future!
