I've made it back from my trip to New England. I've been back for over a week now and I still can't catch up on my stuff. My schedule at work has changed and I'm getting even less sleep. I'll figure things out . . . somehow. Still making music. The album is pretty much there. We just need someone who'll step up and contribute vocals. I'm ( Read more... )

I saw T3 last night with my friend Croe. He thought it was great. I thought it was pretty good; a 3 out of 4 star flick. But after reading your review, I feel an overwhemling desire to drop another star. Why? Prolly because your words are frank and cut to the quick. I found myself saying, "yeah! That's right!" I think I really wanted to like it more than I actually did, hence the equitable rating. Must check that; bad habit to get into.

Why aren't you this caustic in person, Dave?

I enjoyed the film. On a purely popcorn, night out good time sorta way. I wasn't blown away, but I had a good time. Like I said before, not menacing like the first, not awe inspiring like the 2nd, but it was fun. 3 outta four.

The same goes for Charlies Angels 2, bumb summer fun, but watching the babe kick ass is always a good time for this guy. Despite the fact they were super human. Italian Job, another dunb but fun movie. Seems the summer is filled with these...as usual. I am seeing "28 Days Later" tonight. Oh and "Pirates of the Carrabean" enjoyable, wouldn't have been half as good if it were not for Johnny Depps performance...and speaking of Depp, the sequel to El Mariachi and Desperado is coming out Sept 12th, "Once Upon A Time In Mexico"...loooks amazing, great cast, Depp, Banderas, Salma Hayek, Mickey Rourke, and Willem Dafoe.
