Confession: I never have actually tried chicken fried steak but it was the first weird thing I could think of on moment's notice. However, its fried and fried by definition is good; therefore, chicken fried steak must be good.
Random note: Thanks to spell check, I just learned that for most of my life I have misspelled the word weird (my version--->wierd). Spell check is one of the world's greatest inventions second only to fried food, chocolate, and a couple other things I can't think of at the moment.

Dear Anonymous, I'm astonished to find out you have been spelling weird wrong all your life. "I before E except after C or when sound like A as in neighbor and weigh" has been instilled in the minds of school children for decades.
Ditto on spell checker; It's a curse and a blessing because it has become a crutch for me. You should see my spelling on written papers! *hangs head in shame*

I have never eaten (much less heard of) chicken fried steak. Am I leading a deprived life?
