Hey i know you dont know me but I want to join the air force and go into public affairs....are you majoring in journalism? was it hard to get public affairs? i really really want it but my recruiter tells me i need to pick another career field.

You know what, thinking about this for a bit, the Air Force is in the middle of downsizing- they have too many members. I know that affects some jobs more than others, and other jobs none at all. But last I heard, there was a huge need for public affairs people in the air force...

Well my major is Journalism and I want to do something along the lines of Public Affairs. I have read the job description and it seems really fun. I want to be a journalist when I leave the Air Force so this job seems to suit my needs pretty well.

My recruiter's boss actually told me about how I couldnt get public affairs because the job isnt really available. He wants me to go into inteligence jobs. But I really want to do something with Public Affairs...he told me that either I pick different jobs or Im wasting my time.
