Perusing all the daily tidbits of film news I come across a story revealing what the next James Bond movie will be titled. It is an odd title, even by Bond standards. With the more grown-up re-invention of Bond, I think all bets are off as to what the title could signal. I justs hope they remember that Bond is supposed to be a superspy. He needs a super villain to spy on, and with out the Russians, he's just been hurting.

True. But the beauty of going back to the beginning and sort of tossing out all the previous bits is that they can maybe bring back SPECTRE, or even SMERSH now that Putin's got the whole Russia thing back to a respectable crushing authority.

Yes, see, that would be the good move to make, and not trying to be more "with the times." I mean, MI-5 is a great show, but THAT'S where you go for political reality.

Let's see Bond getting into a spacesuit again, that's all I'm saying.

Let's write the one where he has to go up to the International Space Station after it has been overrun by SPECTRE, who is now using it as a weapons platform able to attack anywhere in the world. And since there is no way to shoot it down without fucking up our atmosphere and such, Bond has to infiltrate and eliminate. Easy peasy.
