ICE is one the best things in Germany...

Public transport fares are usually quite complicated all around Germany. Berlin must be an exception! LOL

A German friend from Koblenz was here in Frankfurt the other day and couldn´t figure out what kind of ticket he should buy to get from the train station to my place.

My favorite German word from a merge-together standpoint has always been: Lebensversicherungsgesellschaft

I think you'll appreciate this... the words aren't merged together, but they make for a helluva tongue twister... the place where we used to meet for church in Ukraine was in the conference room of the детская стоматологическая поликлиника!
