\o/ And I tend to worry about having enough material to reach the minimum and overshooting, lol, but it's much more preferrable to running out of things to say, I agree.
You're doing an awesome job! At this rate you'll be finished by the weekend! Maybe part 3 will come together once you start writing it? I thought I'd hit a brick wall before now, as I only have like 1 plot point per chapter, but so far my problem has been the opposite and I'm running into really long chapters and all these extra elements of the story I hadn't expected, which I guess is a good problem to have!
Thank you, so are you! LOL finished with the word count maybe, although I do think I'll be returning to a more normal pace this week. XD I HOPE SO. And I still have plot points but I keep altering them slightly by the time I actually get to them? LOL it has been one surprise after another. :P
it's kind of fun not to know how everything's going in advance though! I'm pretty happy with how I've been going, considering I only had like 2 hours to plan before I started! Scrivener is a life-saver, I swear! I'm at a point where I have to add in some wacky hijinks now though, so that might defeat me! The way mine's going I'm expecting it to be about 75-80,000 all up, so if I can stay ahead on word count I'm going to try to finish the whole lot this month. I signed up for getyourwordsout at the start of the year and I'm still ridiculously down with that too, but I can still make it if I stay on about 2500 a day!

And I hear you on having more material than will fit in 50000 words. But at least it's more than enough material instead of not enough.
