DAY 1: Drove to Nashville. Rocked out on the way. Drank too much sugar. Checked into the hotel and crashed. Went to the strip. Sat at a bar* and drank some beers while watching a live band. Went to another bar** where the singer had a jerry curl and made really cheesy facial expressions. Sang patsy cline at a karaoke bar. Hit the pillow and fell asleep.
DAY 2: Woke up early, too excited to sleep. Went to a couple vintage shops that weren’t open yet. Got a chai tea at a cute coffee shop***. Drove to the venue. Went to third man to buy our tickets ($3 for J&J!) and a record. Went back to said vintage shops, saw nothing. Ate at a cheesy sports bar on the strip. Toured the Ryman auditorium, home of the original grand ole opry. Took a picture on stage with the microphone. Bought a patsy cline poster. Walked around more. Back to the hotel to get ready.
DAY 2 (night): Waited in line for Jenny & Johnny. Bought a beer. Watched first band. Met girls that drove from Arkansas. Drank more beer. Watched second band. Bought another beer. J&J came on, we danced our butts off and stared in awe. They finished, we drank another beer. Met Johnny. Took pictures with Johnny. Saw Gillian Welch. Met Morgan (whispertown). She gave us a pin and hugs. Took pictures with Morgan. Jenny walked by. Went downstairs and saw Kirsten dunst. Said “hi KRISTEN! You’re great!” Took a picture with Kirsten. We were so excited we listened to J&J on the way back to the hotel. Hit the pillow and passed out.
DAY 3: Woke up late and packed. Checked out. Went to get breakfast at the pancake pantry. Waited in line at the pancake pantry. Went to a boutique called Pangaea. A girl took pictures of me for a street style. Tried on clothes. Bought nothing. Went to a coffee shop****. Looked up and saw Jenny. Moved to a different table. Saw J&J&KD etc. Walked by nonchalantly. Andi said hello to Johnny, then talked to Jenny (!). Made Andi’s year/life. Walked out super excited. Went to a clothing exchange & bought a shirt. Went to a country kitchen that was closed. Looked around a consignment shop. Pet a kitten. Pet a cat. Bought a hat. Drove to a restaurant. Drank cherry beer. Ate a pizza. Changed in the car.
DAY 3 (night): waited in line at third man. Got close enough to the front. Watched in awe again. Said hi to Ben and Mellissa. Took a photobooth picture. Went to the store to buy the record. Saw Johnny again. Saw Kirsten again. Went outside to talk to Ben & Mellissa. Jenny peeked her head out. Jenny took a picture with Andi (finally ☺!). Got a picture with Jenny. Everyone told us to drive safe. Got in the car. Found the freeway. Drove home.
