Feeling good today.

I've been reading in the library instead of going to lunch lately. Today, I will do the same.

This morning I came in a couple hours late. The last half of yesterday and so far today, I've been listening to all of the Jets to Brazil records and the Honor System's "Rise and Run" record.

i love andy warhol! when i went to school in germany, i got to see some of his work in museums and it was much cooler than i expected it to be. a no talent hack? :P yr friend sounds like my grandma. andy must have been cool if the velvet underground hung out with him!!

he is indeed a no talent hack. and maybe i am a grandma. all i know is that some douche coloring in pictures of animals with neon colors doesn't exactly strike me as mindblowingly progressive. although i do like the social commentary behind some! of his work. mostly i think he was retardedly pretentious and sucked himself/gets sucked off way too much.
and.
on the whole i regard him as a no talent hack.

i'm not saying he's genius by any means...especially not his films. but i think he deserves more credit than you're giving him. it doesn't take much creativity to paint a landscape or portrait, but how many pieces of 'great art' are just that?

do you regard all of pop art as you regard warhol?

and how many artists (musicians, actors, famous and sometimes otherwise) aren't full of themselves?
