I'm willing to bet anything that your grandfather was aware of what you all were doing to honor his memory, and I'm sure he was extremely pleased. If it's true that people are not truly dead until they're forgotten, then he is still very much alive. God Bless!!

at least all those prayers will help him to heaven if he's not there already
when someone has just lost someone, its good to let them be alone, but on the anniversary, people should be together. one person touches so many other's lives and its good to share that--so you don't feel empty and alone. seems like so long since my grandpa bob died.
