Summers have never been an easy time of the year. Things end, things begin. Luckily, this summer for me many things have stayed the same for me. I am however it would seem, at a crossroads. I am considering not pursuing Theatre any more. This has been coming for some time I would suppose. To many it would seem a logical course. I took up ( Read more... )

i have been having this same issue for some time now, although i don't want to be a lawyer, i don't want to leave the theatre, but on the other hand i do, i am so close to having a degree it seems too late to change my mind... i know what you are feeling and you, my friend, are not alone

Not alone at all. Of course, I'm moving into film and writing, which are sort of kissing cousins to theatre, but still. Hey man, if you don't feel called to theatre, don't do it. Theatre is a business of passion, and if you don't have that passion, it just isn't worth it. Let someone else who has that kind of fire take your place.
Don't give up your degree. Get the theatre degree. You'll need to study for that LSAT, but you can do it. There's nothing that saying you have to be prelaw to get into law school.
You wanna talk politics, come find me. I am also fiercely political, but only when provoked :)
