lousy conversationalist. it wouldn't make you stupid, just shy, right? and you can never really truly learn to be good in bed if you're just not. it's a talent.

i disagree completely. maybe one person's good in bed is another person's trying-too-hard, or maybe one person's lousy lay is another person's, you know, good in bed. i can conceive of doing strange things no one would ever like in bed, but when i think "lousy lay" i think incompatibility, which is not permanent, even if the two incompatible people stay together, because communication can do wonders.

i usually keep my mouth shut about sex because of the virginity thing, but i felt compelled to respond and i feel like this is something a person can have a valid opinion about without necessarily needing experience.

so yes, i would rather have someone think of me as a lousy lay than be incapable of a good conversation. although when i think conversationalist, i think someone who can talk in all circumstances, and i'm already not like that. but okay, if we mean that lousy lay is someone thinking you are (because i think it's ridiculous to say that someone can objectively, always, be bad at sex...to think that there is a way to do it, and that some people don't know this way and won't ever, it's just unacceptable to me...it's like saying that there are bona fide ugly people, like there is some standard of beauty that surpasses individual taste...i just don't buy it), and if we mean that good conversationalist is someone who is capable of having stimulating and meaningful conversations, then i choose lousy lay.
