The professor/doctor at my school whose lab I'm doing my Master's in thinks I'm something special. He thinks I have all this talent and all these skills. My parents think I have this huge potential. But I don't. I'm nothing, I'm nobody. I had to start starving myself to make me stand out. Why is being praised making me cry?

Sometimes the worst thing is having to acknowledge the gap between potential and reality. And that is why compliments and faith can be crushing in their own way. Good luck! And you're certaintly not nobody.
