Hell yeah...a world without Star Trek would not be a world worth living in...My world I believe would be dark and meaningless. That and Quantum Leap made me the man I am today :D

Oh I remember watching Quantum Leap as a kid but when I try and watch the repeats on SciFi I always end up cringing... then again early TNG does that too me too. *grin*

while I was never as obsessive about star trek as you - I agree the world would not be a good place at all.

Nope. Although I think Star Trek as a franchise could do with a seedier underbelly or a look at the Universe outside of Star Fleet. But that could just be me. *grin*
