Randomly Not-So-Awesome Update

Nothing worth noting has happened lately until today I guess. I backed my car into a truck who was simultaneously backing up and also not looking the right way. Hit me right in the middle of my license plate and cracked my bumper. Most of the damage is hidden behind the license plate so you can't even tell. I still worry. It's like I dropped my baby on it's head. It's still sad and the damage is permanent.

its funny you noticed the connection between physics and alcohol. a good friend of mine spent his first three semesters here in the physics program. its one of the hardest things you can do at purdue; just to give you an idea, his freshman class had 150 students, when he changed majors, it had 15. also, physics 152, the general physics intro course taken by engineering majors is the most dropped class in the country. anyway... when my friend was still in physics, the only people that did good in any way, the only ones that got a's were the ones that did their homework while drunk or while getting drunk. some even claimed that they were physically incapable of doing their work unless inebriated. he stayed friends with a couple of them. one graduated with a 4.0, the other with a gpa in the high threes, and both still drank heavily every day. so yeah... fun fact.
