So the first week of my latin jazz workshop at ASU is complete. I feel really good about it. First off, I didn't have to take my placement audition. Dom, the drum instructor, said he knew my playing well enough to not make me audition, and he placed me in the top combo. That's pretty sweet. Well, I passed the garage door test this time. It's still hard to get a hang of parking on an uphill driveway with a clutch, though. I suppose practicing more than twice will help.
