It's funny. Usually when a product is highly anticipated or over-hyped there is a giant wave of disappointment when the thing is finally released. TFVI was a decent game. The problem is that it came after an immense pause in the series lead by a cancellation. Hopes were so stupidly high that there really was no way for the game to live up to them.

That being said, the game is a lot of fun and it supports progressive scan on its native hardware. It's my assumption that "Operation III" is a nod to the aborted DC game (which would have been Operation II). And just to clarify, yes, Broken Thunder really is god-awful.

I did a super-play a while back for this game: Maniac Mode, All Clear, No Miss, Syrinx (final score over 33 million)
