Sorry to those who I haven't gotten in contact with and are finding out from this post, but I've no desire to repeat myself over and over and am more or less in emotional hiding right now.

So.

The short: I will not be having a baby this summer because that baby is already dead.

I guess there's pretty much nothing that I could say to make you feel better. You're strong, you know what to do. I can just be sorry for your loss and stand here, contemplating and asking myself what is fair and what's not.

... I'm sorry... I read your webcomic and when I heard you were pregnant I got exited. I have a cousin who's had a lot of misscarriges. And when she finnaly gave birth to a live baby there was something wrong and the baby had to be put in an incubator. Again, I'm really sorry.

This happened to my wife and I a couple of years ago also. Just remember that you have every right to mourn. If you need it, there are support groups for people who have lost children. The compassionate friends is one (www.compassionatefriends.org).

The only other advise I can add is that your husband/significant other, might not be able to be much help emotionally right now. I reacted to my grief by withdrawing and a friend of mine who had a similar experience also withdrew when his wife miscarried.
