3 Years Ago Today
Three years ago today, my father passed away after having battled lung cancer for quite some time. I don't know if I can say I'm over the surreal feeling that hes gone as before his passing, I only saw him a few times per year so it feels like I just haven't visited in a while

Man *sniffles* your post made me tear up. I've never lost a parent so I think you're pretty strong having dealt with such a thing and well I didn't know your dad, I'm pretty damn sure any parent would be so proud to have you as a son!
I love country music - this is a beautiful song.
This song also chokes me up. This girl has amazing riding skills and a horse trained by her father who passed away before he could see it preform. The SONG tho makes me cry EVERYTIME.

That song falls into the category for me of "those songs" that give me goosebumps when I hear it.
