Get this: I am not eligible for a financial aid program at a certain college because my SAT critical reading score is too high.
On one hand I want to laugh my ass off; on the other, I am very disappointed.
I've been looking at the online application for NYU and I cannot wait to revise my essay; it fits one of their prompts already!
I refuse to be pessimistic any longer. Yes, my cumulative is "below" what I deem to be perfection, or even marginal perfection, but that is quite all right. By the end of senior year, it will be marginally perfect. No pressure, right? Just another 97-99% average and I shall be up to where I want to be - hopefully. And by the end of college, I doubt I will have any more of these stupid regrets.
I don't know if anyone else is as excited as me to do college course work. Obviously I am familiar with it through college credit courses, but the opportunity to be able to focus in on my major (English, what else?) will be excellent.
