The shower scene was the perfect balance of shock, humor and sexual tension. I can understand where Connor's coming from to. He's going with what he knows and while GA has never been in his life he feels that his Dad has good reasons for that and he's defending him. He's also protecting Chloe. Poor Ollie, it was never his decision to not be a part of their lives and he's having to work doubly hard now. At least Chloe's really warming to him. I wonder if he'll find the mug or have one made to replace the one she lost.
Is it wrong to say that I love Connor's plans? Because they're perfect for a (clever) 6 year old to have come up with, devious but not quite all the way thought through. And his schemes seem more likely to bring them together, at this point, than tear them apart.
And then this archery plot! The Green Arrow gets to make a little bit of an appearance, even if just in spirit (you know, bows and arrows). Will Connor suceed in getting Oliver to put him in danger? Or will he realize that it's highly unlikely that his mom knows TWO archers?
And when are Chloe and Oliver going to talk about the proverbial canary in a mine shaft? At some point, Chloe's going to realize that Oliver's completely neglecting his fiance, or the headlines of his broken enganment will catch up with him... And for that matter what would Dinah say about the reason Chloe left?
I'm not looking for any answers. I'm sure they're coming in future chapters. My point is: I love this story, and I think it's fantastically written, and, generally, I just can't wait for more!
*Scratches head* I have no idea how I missed this chapter update.
Silly Connor, trying to split up your parents before they ever get together. Deffinitely got a chuckle out of Ollie attempting to be a gentleman in the restroom all the while Chloe's thinking of their last time they were in the shower together.
I love that Ollie is finally taking the initiative to get Chloe back and that she's responding. Slowly albeit, but still responding!
