Can't help but agree with the previous speaker. Oliver spend so much time with them, he was so genuine and she immediately assumes the worst? God I hope they will talk about it right away. Oh, and I absolutely loved the way Chloe called him 'Ollie' before their "almost kiss". Now that they are alone in the house it's the perfect opportunity to talk about things. I really really hope you'll update soon! :) P.S. I'm a little jelous of you watching The Green Lantern. In a good way of course ;) Can't wait till Monday to watch it myself!Yay! It's gonns be great!
Okay... I've slept on it, read your little comment about chapter 20, and I feel a little better about this, but I'm still undecided on how much I trust you with how the talk's going down. But I trust you.
Connor/Ollie talks are always fabulous and when they work together... kind of awkward, but awesome nonetheless. Poor Bren though.... guy never stood a chance.
And it's really sweet to see how proud Oliver is of Connor, but I can't help but wonder if Connor already suspects something because he trusts Oliver enough to be alone with Chloe for one night. I mean, he is their kid, but besides the enemy-of-the-enemy-is-my-friend thing (which could have been a clue for all I know)... can't help but think Connor knows more than he's saying.
But this is me.... I either jump to conclusions or I over-think things...and I'm usually wrong. Regardless, you know I want the next chapter for this asap, but I know I'm not exactly one to talk (I have started writing it again though).
OMG, so many emotional reactions to this chapter. First, I love how excited they were over the game and how Ollie picked her up and spun her around and then them touching each other and I'm holding my breath waiting for the kiss and then...Connor. Grrr. I feel like a cartoon supervillian who got foiled again
( ... )
Someone just needs to tie these two to a chair and let them have it out. Chloe is sooo misunderstanding Oliver. That is what happens when you only hear a part of a conversation. This is just heartbreaking.
Thank you! I assure you they do "hash it out" in the next chapter =)
Green Lantern -- The action scenes/Lantern scenes and storyline were great! Makes me really hope for a sequel. Unfortunately, because I read the comics I have to say I didn't care for any of the Blake Lively scenes, or the direction they went with Carol Ferris's storyline... She literally had zero chemistry with Ryan Reynolds, and it seemed like more of a love story than anything else...
